Clermont and District Progress Association Inc originally formed in 1995. In 2013 Clermont Community & Business Group (CCBG) became the registered trading name for the organisation.
CCBG is a not for profit organisation governed by a volunteer management committee who all own and operate local businesses. Our mission is to strengthen our community to enhance the vibrancy, capacity and resilience of the ‘whole of community’.
CCBG has built up an extensive network both internally and externally to town. We engage in communication and liaise with other community groups from the surrounding areas of Moranbah, Emerald, Capella and Dysart.
CCBG strongly encourages the ‘shop locally’ campaign in the community having conducted two major shop locally voucher raffles and use local suppliers to source our own products and services
We are the town’s peak advocacy and support body actively promoting Clermont, acting as a reference point for information and local data for local, state and federal governments and business. The group provides social and cultural opportunities for residents and visitors.
Individuals and families are also welcome partners. Contact us to become a partner.
These committees meet regularly. If you have any topic you would like raised at these committee meetings please contact us.
A vibrant, family friendly, united and safe community that creates social, business and employment opportunities for all generations to live, work, play & age well.
To strengthen our community to enhance the vibrancy, capacity and resilience of the whole of community.
Clermont Community Business Group helped me to meet other business owners within Clermont.
It is a great group to be part of providing access to a range of resources to help better yourself both as a business and individual.
